Future apologies for how often I will pick the peanut butter flavored supplements first before other flavors. Often I will try to choose the most popular option for a product, but sometimes, as a peanut butter lover, I cannot help myself.
I will start off by saying I don't like this bar as a nutritional supplement nor as a meal replacement. That being said, it tastes pretty good compared to some of the alternatives. The bar I had was pretty hard but had a great peanut butter taste.
Macros
30 grams of protein to 380 calories isn't ideal, but is a lot of protein. This may be a good ratio for someone on a dirty-bulk or for someone who's soley trying to gain mass and struggles with weight gain.
That's about all I have to say that's good about the macro nutrients of this bar; I don't like the macros. The amount of fat in this bar, albeit healthier fats, increases the calories to, for me, not acceptable levels. If the bar was more keto friendly, I would have a different opinion on the macros. But right now, the net carbs is >10g which is too much for me to call it keto friendly.
Micros
I also do not like the micros. There is too much sodium in this bar; igh sodium can adversely affect weight loss due to increased water retention. If this bar became more keto friendly, I would reconsider this opinion.
The actual ingredients are pretty terrible as well: palm kernel oil, sucralose, corn syrup, sunflower oil and mono glycerides to name some of the nastier ones. This bar is pretty loaded with these type of ingredients. Normally I am macro-focused but to see a full list of terrible ingredients raises a red flag for me.
Verdict
Pass. Even as a peanut butter lover, I cannot recommend a bar that is loaded with this many low quality ingredients with this calorie count. The bar itself tasted fine, but at a cost: high calories and low quality ingredients.
Don't take my word for it though, try it yourself!
